Rosemary Luce (known as Rosie) is the Director of RL Safeguarding Service Ltd. Public Office posts include Fitness to Practise Panellist for the Nursing Midwifery Council; Parent Governor at a local comprehensive school & sports college and is the link governor for Every Child Matters and Chairs the Pupils and Personnel Committee. This role has provided further experience in strategic direction; support monitoring and evaluation and ensuring accountability.
In addition to the Directors role, Rosie acts as an Independent Consultant for the NSPCC. Rosie formerly held a Senior Trainer and Development Consultant (Health) post for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. This role included:

Rosie has worked in Health for 25 years and since 2000, has also included practice with in Community Health, Acute Paediatric Nursing, Mental Health and Nursing Vulnerable Adults in residential settings.
Former roles include; Child Protection Coordinator for Trent Strategic Health Authority taking the overall strategic lead for children at risk in particular child protection and Children Looked After; Named Nurse providing advice, training, supervision and consultancy on safeguarding children and aspects of public protection within a Mental Health (including adult learning disabilities) Trust.
Rosie has a keen interest in law and wishing to further develop her career Rosie started a self funded full Time First Degree in Law at Nottingham Trent University. In 2003 she obtained her LLB and graduated with Honours. Rosie then pursued a Masters in Law in Claims and Risk Management in Healthcare and achieved her LLM in 2006. During this period, Rosie has observed courts (criminal, civil, employment tribunals), attended a summer placement with CAPSTICKS solicitors (2002) that involved preparation of case files for employment tribunals, clinical negligence and fraud and, attended Human Rights Summer School in Strasbourg (2001).
