Multi-Agency: Legal and Professional Aspects of Sharing Information and Record Keeping in the Context of Safeguarding Children

Target Audience: Health, education, social care practioners and managers.

Aim: To provide an overview of the purpose of recording information and an opportunity to explore legal aspects of sharing information that can impact on the front-line.

Key Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

State the purpose of record keeping
Identify key factors in the sharing of information and relate to practice
Experience recording and explain the role of supervisors
Identify common mistakes in record keeping
